Summary
Savvy Supper has no account or sign-up: we don't ask for your name, email or phone number. Your preferences, including allergies and diet, are stored only on your phone and are never sent to our servers. We don't sell personal information and the app shows no ads.
1. Data that stays on your phone
Household size, budget, menu style, diet, allergies and intolerances, foods you dislike, your menus, your grocery list and any prices you enter. Some of this is health data. It is processed only on your device to build your menus: we don't receive it, share it or use it for advertising.
2. How it is used
To suggest menus that fit your budget, diet and allergies, and to build your grocery list.
3. Data the app downloads
The app downloads recipes, reference prices and images from our server. These files are delivered through Cloudflare, which may process your IP address to deliver the content and protect the service, under its own privacy policy. Our server keeps no access logs. The app sends no personal data when downloading these files.
4. Payments and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store card details. To know whether you have premium we use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com/privacy), which receives an anonymous identifier created by the app and the purchase data Apple provides (product, date and status). It does not receive your name, email or health data. Billing is governed by Apple's policies.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. Only the providers needed to run the service (Apple, RevenueCat and Cloudflare) are involved, as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
Your data lives on your phone while you use the app. You can delete it in Settings → Delete my data, or by uninstalling the app. For any question, or to exercise your privacy rights, email [email protected]. EU and UK residents may also complain to their data protection authority.
7. Children
Savvy Supper is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
